RV Lithium Battery Installation in Las Vegas
Your battery bank decides what off-grid life looks like. Lithium changed what is possible, and installation quality decides whether you actually get it.
Why lithium changes the math
Battery banks are rated in amp hours, but the number that matters is usable amp hours. Drain a lead acid battery much past halfway and you shorten its life, so a lead acid bank realistically gives you about half of what the label says. Lithium batteries can be discharged far deeper without damage, so the same rated capacity delivers dramatically more energy you can actually use.
Lithium also holds its voltage steady as it discharges, accepts charge much faster, and weighs far less per usable amp hour. In an RV, that means more real capacity in the same compartment, faster recovery from solar every day, and appliances that behave the same at midnight as they did at sunset.
RV Lithium Battery Installation, Sized for Real Loads
We install lithium banks from 600 to 1,200 amp hours as part of the 24/7 Extreme Off Grid Solar Package, and that scale is deliberate: paired with the right inverter, it is what makes air conditioning on battery power realistic instead of theoretical. If your needs are different, the consultation starts with your loads, not a package brochure.
Where lithium projects go right or wrong
Lithium is not a drop-in swap. It charges at different voltages than lead acid, so your converter, your solar charge controller, and your engine charging all need to be configured or upgraded to match. Cabling and fusing have to be sized for much higher charge and discharge currents than the old bank ever saw. Get it wrong and you undercut the batteries you paid for, or worse, create a safety problem.
Our RVIA/RVDA certified technicians handle the full system: mounting, wiring, charge sources, protection, and monitoring, so you can see exactly what your bank is doing at a glance.
Built for the desert we live in
Batteries care about temperature, and we install in the Mojave. Placement, ventilation, and charging behavior in heat and cold are part of every design we do, not an afterthought discovered the first August afternoon.
Can I keep my existing solar panels?
Often, yes. The charge controller and its configuration matter as much as the panels. A technician will evaluate what is worth keeping during the consultation.
Do you install lithium without solar?
Yes. A lithium upgrade stands on its own, and we design it so solar can be added later without redoing the work.
